Lyrics: The River Within

In this single room where I reside,
There is a river that flows inside.
But I built a wall of old regrets,
Collecting the pain that the heart forgets.
The driver in front, the burning sun,
I blamed the world for what it had done.
But the moment in front is completely still,
It’s only my mind fighting life’s own will.

So I relax and I release,
Dropping back to find the peace.
Let the blockages wash away,
Like a snake shedding skin today.
Oh, Shakti, let your waters roll,
Flowing deep to heal my soul.
I am the witness, I am the light,
Surrendering completely to the night.

My past is a ghost that holds no hand,
A shadow fading upon the sand.
Why keep the arguments in my head,
When the river of bliss wants to rise instead?
It pours through my heart, it fills my eyes,
Past the illusions and all the lies.
I don't need the world to make me whole,
I am the star burned, radiant soul.

Die to the self to be reborn,
Welcoming the calm after the storm.
No more preferences, no more fears,
Drowning in joy through all these years.
The drop is falling into the sea,
No longer bound, forever free.

Just relax... behind it all,
Listen to the silence call.
I can handle this, I am home,
The ocean and the drop are one.
Namaste...
Let it go...

Unconditional Happiness

We constantly place conditions on our joy, living by the unwritten rule: "I will only be happy if the world unfolds exactly the way I want it to.". But reality operates on its own laws of cause and effect, completely independent of our demands. True happiness is not a conditional reward; it is a radiant river of energy—Shakti, a continuous flow of joy already welling up deep within us. You don’t need to look outward or manipulate the world to find it; you simply have to go inward, jump in, and drown in it.

Energy Blockages (Samskaras)

The only reason we aren’t living in a perpetual state of ecstasy is because we have collected and stored past trauma, resistance, and unhandled experiences deep within our psyche. In yoga, these are known as Samskaras—inner blockages. The moment the present life triggers these stored impressions, the beautiful, upward flow of Shakti gets suppressed, giving rise to fear, judgment, and anger.

The "Low-Hanging Fruit"

To master the art of letting go, don't start with your deepest, most acute traumas. Begin with the "low-hanging fruit"—the minor irritations of daily life, like a scorching hot day or a slow driver in front of you. As the profound truth goes: “The moment in front of you is not bothering you. You are bothering yourself about the moment in front of you.”. Use these everyday moments as your spiritual practice to consciously Relax and Release.

The Nature of Ego

The ego is nothing more than a masquerading self, a false self-concept. When Consciousness dropped into this physical body and felt uncomfortable, it built this mental mask to cling to for protection and solidity. But the ego is not who you are; you are the Witness watching it. As you do the inner work to process and release your blockages, this artificial identity naturally sheds right off—just like the skin of a snake.
